Obituary

Donna Marie Zeiler, 66 of Aladdin, Wyoming passed away Monday, February 11th 2008 at her home.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M., Friday, February 15th 2008 at the United Church of Christ in Spearfish with Pastor Peg Grzelkowski officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to The Spirit of the Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, 500 N Tinton Road, Spearfish, SD 57783.

Donna Marie Zeiler was born November 4th 1941 in Washington, D.C. She resided in Silver Spring, MD, until her marriage to the late George R. Bray. She lived in Potomac, MD, until her marriage to Dr. David Zeiler. In 1988 they moved to south central Wyoming, where they owned and operated a cattle ranch in Sybille Canyon, as well as worked for the Wyoming Game and Fish, specifically for the Black Footed Ferret Program. In 2001 they moved near Aladdin, WY, where Donna was able to continue her love of rescuing and caring for animals. From mountain lions to black bears to badgers, she loved them all. Donna was known as an extremely compassionate and sensitive soul, greatly affecting those around her with her passion and enthusiasm for life, itself.

Donna is survived by her husband, David Zeiler of Aladdin, WY, sons; Steven Bray of Aladdin, David Bray of Sundance, WY and Daniel Bray of Denver, CO, granddaughter, Kianna Sernka of Cheyenne, WY, step-sons, Gregg Zeiler of Bethesda, MD and Steven Zeiler of Missoula, MT, stepdaughter, Kristianne Teems of Washington, DC and step-grandchildren; Madeleine, Owen and Caleb Teems.
