Obituary

Donald Edwin Ondriezek, 87 of Deadwood, SD passed away on Friday, January 20, 2017 at Rapid City Regional Hospital.

Don was born to Edwin and Viola Ondriezek on April 17, 1929 in Sheridan Wyoming. Don graduated from Deadwood High School in 1947.

Don was employed for more than 25 years at Wells Fargo Bank in Deadwood, advancing through various positions until becoming manager. He retired from Wells Fargo Bank in 1986. Don enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing with his friends. Don was also an active member for many years in the Deadwood Fraternal Order of Elks and Tomahawk Country Club.

Don was married to Arlene Lewis in Deadwood, and to this union one child, Judy, was born. Don later married Lorraine (Sonny) Wasner on December 13, 1958.

Survivors include Judy (Dale) Hogen of Spearfish, Lori Wasner and her husband (Mike Grindel) of Richland, WA; grandchildren Sonya Snowden, Melody Fenske, Dale Jr. and Nick Hogen, Jeffrey Grindel and Stephen Grindel; one brother, Neil Ondriezek; two sisters, Shirley Parks and Edith Adams; several nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Arlene, second wife Lorraine, sister Jeannie and brother Gordon.

At his request, cremation has taken place. A graveside memorial service will be held at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis on January 25, 2017 at 11:00 AM.

No memorial is requested.
