Dennis Richardson our beloved husband, father, brother, uncle & friend passed away at home in Lead, SD on Monday, December 27th. He was 72 years old.
He was born on November 23, 1938 in Smithfield, UT to Bartley H. Richardson and Fern Hadfield Richardson Jensen, both deceased. He was a graduate of North Cache High School in Richmond, UT and attended Utah State University in Logan, UT.
Dad is survived by his wife Sharon Lee Talbot Richardson of Lead; three children and their spouses; Lori & David Bird of Portland, OR, Brit & Debra Richardson of Castle Rock, CO and Ty Richardson & Julie Cox of Minneapolis, MN.; and two brothers and their wives, Lynn & Sandy Richardson of Ogden, UT; and Bruce and Jean Richardson of Eagle ID. His brother, Michael passed away on October 30th of this year.
Dad worked for Skaggs Drug Centers for 20 years. After leaving Skaggs he opened his own brokerage office in Kallispell, MT where he and mom lived for 10 years. They moved to Spearfish in 1990 when they bought and opened Goldberg's Casino followed by his final career as Owner/Broker of Help-U-Sell Real Estate. He retired in 2007 due to health complications.
In lieu of flowers, our family would prefer to acknowledge dad's enthusiastic membership and participation in Northern Black Hills Rotary Club of Spearfish and would like to suggest gifts be made to them in dad's memory.
