Deloris A. Freemole, 103, of Spearfish, SD formerly of Belle Fourche, SD passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2019, at Good Samaritan Home in Rapid City, SD.

Ardis Deloris Hemmingson was born to Andrew and Effie (Nuteson) Hemmingson on November 7, 1916. She was the fifth child born to this union. She attended school at South Creek country school and graduated from high school at Kadoka in 1934.

She married Kelly Freemole on August 1, 1934 in Rapid City, SD. Deloris and Kelly adopted a son, Cleo Robert Freemole. The couple ranched east of Belvidere, SD until they purchased a ranch near St. Onge in 1966. Kelly passed away in February 1980.

Deloris moved into Belle Fourche after Kelly passed away. She was an avid quilter, loved to crochet, and play cards. She belonged to several bridge clubs in town.

Deloris is survived by her son, Robert Freemole; brother, Andy Hemmingson of Kadoka, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; three sisters, and husband Kelly.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30am on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at Pine Slope Cemetery in Belle Fourche, SD
