Delores (Johns) Butcher, 85 of Lead died on October 6, 2018 at her home.

Delores was born on October 29, 1932 at her grandparent's home across the road from Homestake Mansion in Lead to Durward and Helen (Rosser) Johns.

Delores graduated from Lead High School in 1951. She worked at the Homestake Opera House during her junior and senior year of high school. She married Herbert Butcher in 1954. Their son, Keith, was born in 1956. Delores continued to work in the Lead area and retired in 1988.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Durward and Helen; her sisters, Darlene and Diane; her husband, Herbert and her son, Keith.

Graveside services for Delores and Keith will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Mountain Lawn Cemetery in Lead.
