Deb Palmer, 62 of Spearfish, SD passed away suddenly on September 29, 2022 at her home in Spearfish.

Deb was born on August 17, 1960 in Deadwood, SD to Allen and Doris Marzolf.  She attended school in Deadwood and Lead.  Her favorite job growing up was lifeguarding at the Deadwood Recreation Center. Throughout her life she held positions at numerous businesses in Lead, Deadwood and Spearfish.  She married Steven Palmer on July 14, 1984 in Spearfish Canyon. Deb gave birth to two wonderful children, Kellie and Lance.  Her children came first above everything else.

Deb enjoyed camping, traveling, dancing music but most of all watching her grandchildren, Sebashtan and Garand.

Surviving family members are her husband Steve; children Lance (Laurel) Palmer and Kellie Palmer; grandchildren, Sebashtan and Garand; siblings  Gloria Clausen, David Marzolf, Shirley Harvey, Cindy Findley, Peggy Lundgren, Allen Marzolf and Tina Marzolf.  Deb was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Fidler-Isburg Funeral Chapel in Spearfish.  A memorial has been established to the Deadwood Swim Team at the Recreation Center in Deadwood.
