Deanna Mae Baumberger, 75, Moorcroft, WY died Monday, December 9, 2013 at her home.

Deanna was born April 25, 1938 in Westmoreland, Kansas to Earl and Rachel (Rogers) Southard. As a young child she moved with her family to Big Springs, NE, where she attended school. She married Gerald Baumberger on February 5, 1955 in Rapid City, SD. The couple lived in Rapid City, Michigan, Nebraska and Colorado, before moving to Gillette, Wyoming and eventually Moorcroft, where they made their home. Deanna enjoyed sewing and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Crook County Senior Citizens.

Survivors include her children; Richard Baumberger of Gillette, Terry Baumberger of Moorcroft, Timothy Baumberger of Ft. Collins, CO and Brenda Hertel of Gillette, three brothers, Roger Southard, Junior Southard and Bill Southard all of Rapid City, six grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and three sisters; Becky, Viola and Earlene.

Funeral services will be at 11am, Friday, December 13, 2013 at Fidler-Isburg Funeral Chapel in Spearfish with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis.
