David Harold Daniels, 63 of Belle Fourche, SD gained his victory on Friday, May 17, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loved ones.

David was born June 17, 1955 in Shakoppe, Minnesota to John Woodrow and Sally (Roberts) Daniels. He attended Mayer and Watertown, MN school district while living on a dairy farm. In 1973 he moved to the Black Hills, where he started his mechanical career at Whitewood Motors. On August 17, 1974 he married his wife of 44 years, Barbara Jean Jewell of Brush Prairie, Washington. In the mid 1980's he began working in the timber industry, where he worked until his passing. David held his Christianity with the utmost importance. His greatest passions were spending time with his family and logging.

David is survived by his wife, Barbara, eight sons; Keith (Tiffany), Kevin (Sara), Scott (Brandy), Craig (Nicole) and Aaron (Crystal) all of Belle Fourche, SD, Wayne (Amanda) of Palmer, AK, Michael (Patsy) of Moorcroft, WY and Timothy (Gina) of Yacolt, WA, three daughters; Christine (Ben) Uskoski of Battle Ground, WA, Elaine (Patrick) Carlson of Dollar Bay, MI and Joni (Chap) Rosenlund of Belle Fourche, SD, 59 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by three brothers; Bill (Jackie) of Spearfish, SD, Art (Ellie) of Sturgis, SD and John (Pat) of Belle Fourche, SD, eight sisters; Cleo Williamson, Martha (Steve) Gustafson, Joyce (Tom) Cederstrom, Myrna (Mark) Berryhill all of Spearfish, SD, Caroline (Duane) Kuenzel of Belle Fourche, SD, Evelyn (Sid) Simonson of Duluth, MN, Evonne (Matt) Freese of Ranchester, WY and Dorothy (Marshall) Simonson of Big Horn, WY and many dear Christian friends.

David was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Joe and Delmar, brother-in-law, Myrl Williamson and grandson, Micah Daniels.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 20, 2019 from 7:00pm-8:00pm at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church of Spearfish. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church of Spearfish, with burial to follow at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church Cemetery of Spearfish, South Dakota.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
