Obituary
David Kirkland Brown, 72 of Deadwood, died in Fort Mead, SD on November 15, 2015 from lung cancer.
David was born on November 10, 1943 in Holtville, CA. He was a decorated, retired member of the Navy and served bravely in the Vietnam War. He married Mary Anne Pipkins in Reno, NV and they lived in Anaheim, CA until they moved to Deadwood.
David is survived by his children Gregory and Eric of Massachusetts, Stanley of New York and Katherine of California, and is preceded in death two years ago by his wife Mary Anne Pipkins.
Burial will take place at Oak Ridge Cemetery near Deadwood.
