Daniel Ray Redding was born to Lloyd and Alice Redding on January 27, 1960, and passed on September 7, 2025.

Preceded by his parents Lloyd and Alice Redding, his brother John Redding and sister, Judy Vachon.

Survived by his sister Linda Ellefson, brothers Jerry and Dave Redding. His sons, Skeeter and Tristan Redding and his grandchildren, Sadie, Macie, Riplie and Grizzly.

Dan lived his entire life on the family ranch. In his youth, he developed a great passion for ranch life and outdoor living. From riding bareback horses in rodeo, running trap lines in the winter, hunting and fishing whenever time allowed. He loved riding horseback into the high country in search of elk every fall. Although many knew him simply as a truck driver, he had many skills that became his hard-working attitude. From shearing sheep, repairing trucks & tractors to designing and building anything his heart desired out of any manner of materials. He was a loving and tutoring father to his two sons and a caring grandfather to his grandchildren. A proud member of the Hulett Volunteer Fire Dept. for many years and a well-regarded member of the Hulett community. Many will remember him fondly as a worthy opponent in a game of pool and never one to shy away from the microphone on karaoke night. His memory will endure through the lives of his family and friends.
