Daniel Ray Harvey, 76, passed away after a long battle with cancer at home on January 18, 2025.

He was born in Deadwood, SD on 11-23-1948 to Carl and Opal Harvey. He attended Deadwood School through half of his junior year when they moved to Belle Fourche for junior and senior year. He graduated in 1967. On Jan 27, 1968 Dan married Judy Frick. To this union three daughters were born. Dan served in the Army from 1968-1970. He retired from Neiman Sawmill in 2016 after 33 years in the business.

He is survived by his wife, Judy, daughters Lesa (Bill) Jewett, Christy (Shane) Hanson, Michele (Jerry) Peters. 11 grandkids and five great grandkids, sister, Laura Wheeler and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Opal Harvey, brothers, Jerry and Alan, two grandsons, Dustin Hanson and Austin Jewett.
