Dan Tschetter, 60, of Moorcroft, WY, died Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at his home after a courageous two year battle with cancer.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, January 24, 2009 at Fidler-Roberts & Isburg Funeral Chapel in Sundance, WY.

Dan was born May 22, 1948 to Albert and Elsie (Ames) Tschetter in Sundance, Wyoming. He attended country school at Inyan Kara before graduating from Upton High School. Dan then attended then known as Black Hills State College graduating with a bachelor's degree in science and forestry. He married Peggy Wood in Moorcroft. Dan worked for Belle Fourche Pipeline for thirty five years. He also operated a photography shop in Moorcroft. Dan later married Pat McCormick at the family ranch at Inyan Kara on May 23, 2003. The couple made their home on the ranch on Inyan Kara, where they enjoyed their time together. He enjoyed photography, hunting, gardening, traveling and especially teaching children how to hunt, play sports and leading in 4-H. He also enjoyed embroidery in which Pat taught him to do. Dan was the treasurer for the Wyoming Turkey Federation and was the president of the Devil's Tower Flock, Moorcroft Chapter of the Wyoming Turkey Federation.
Dan is survived by his wife Pat Tschetter of Moorcroft, his mother Elsie Tschetter of Sundance, five children: Michele Adriance of Del Rio, TX, D'Ann Cord of Des Moines, IA, Shane Tschetter of Duncan, NE, Becky Koss of Moorcroft, and Angie Weise of Farmington, MN, 9 grandchildren, brother, Joe Tschetter of Houston, TX and two sisters, Gay Duvall of Englewood, CO and Penny Altaffer of Casper, WY.
Dan was preceded in death by his father, sister, Aleta Bears and brother, David Tschetter.
