Colby. Jack "CJ' Viergets died November 7. 2010 as the result of a car accident near Beulah, WY.

Colby was born September 19, 1976 in Spearfish, SD the first child of Mark and Chris (McInerney) Viergets. Colby attended elementary school in Sundance until the fifth grade when the family moved to Wickenburg, AZ. Colby graduated from Wickenburg High School where he excelled academically and in athletics, in 1995.

During summers in Wyoming, Colby met the love of his life, Becky Leinen and they were united in marriage July 17, 1999. Colby and Becky moved to Laramie, WY with Becky attending the University of Wyoming and Colby working in the Electrician Apprenticeship program through Energy Electric of Sundance, WY. Upon Becky's graduation and Colby attaining his Journeyman's status, they moved to Newcastle, WY where they made their home for four years. In 2005 Colby joined his father as a full time beekeeper in the Beulah area and they moved to the Beulah where they built a home for their growing family. Cordell, the first light of their life, joined them in 2003, Bridger, the spitting image of his father joined them in 2008, and a precious little bundle of joy named Emmalyn joined them in 2010.

Colby was a devoted husband and father, and a tireless worker. He worked hard to keep the bees alive, to keep his family fed, and to improve his "homestead". There was always time though to help a neighbor, change a diaper, or swap a story. Although his wife and family were his first priority, he enjoyed elk hunting with his friends, brandings with his family and friends, and an occasional fishing expedition. He was a big bear of a man with a gentle soul who will be missed by all who ever met him.

Colby is survived by his wife Becky, his sons Cordell and Bridger, and his daughter Emmalyn, all of Beulah; his father and step-mom, Mark and Annette, of Beulah; his mother and step-dad, Chris and Jason Babcock of Williams, AZ; grandparents Gerald and Jacquie McInerney, and his mother and father-in-law, Dave and Eunice Leinen all of Sundance, WY. Colby was blessed with three wonderful brothers, Graham, Yu1i, and Oakley of Beulah, WY; and two very special sisters, Amy (Drew) Bryant of Phoenix, AZ, and Courtney (Ron) Stilwell, of Williams, AZ; also numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and sister and brother-in-laws, all who loved him dearly.

Services will be held at 10.00 AM, Wednesday November 10, 2010, at the United Methodist Church in Sundance. A reception will follow the services, also at the Church, and graveside services will be held at the Beulah Cemetery, in Beulah, WY. All are invited to attend.
