Clifford A. Julius, 86, of Lead, passed away on May 10, 2010 at Lead-Deadwood Regional Hospital.
Clifford was born September 11, 1923 to Andrew and Mary(Bartolino) Julius. He attended grade school at St. Patrick's Catholic School in Lead. He graduated from Lead High School on May 29th 1942.
After school he joined the navy on April 14, 1943. He recived many medals and was discharged on March 2, 1946. Cliff started work at the Homestake Company on April 8, 1946 and retired on April 11, 1985. Cliff always enjoyed a great round of golf with his friends!
Cliff is survived by his four cousins Ed (Diane) Vigna, Marilyn (Don) Hoffman, Joan (Wiley) Hughes and Robert (Lynette) Myhem and special friends Ki and Maxine Caserio
Visitation will be from 6-7 P.M., Thursday, May 13, 2010 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Lead, with Vigil services beginning at 7:00 P.M.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, May 14, 2010 at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Father Kerry Prendiville as Celebrant. Burial with military honors will take place at 12:30 P.M. at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to benefit Golden Ridge Regional Senior Care in Lead.
