Cleve was active in Hulett Roping Club, helping produce the annual Hulett Rodeo. He loved being involved in the local high school sports supporting his children in their musical endeavors, rodeos, and sports.
Cleve thoroughly enjoyed attending his children's activities and was an avid supporter of youth in the area. He also enjoyed working with his family on the ranch. In his spare time he enjoyed roping, helping neighbors, visiting and golfing. His weekly endeavor was going to play cards with his friends. He was very outgoing and enjoyed meeting new people and his sense humor will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Cleve loved waking up in the mornings and looking out over his land and cattle, he was very proud of his children and all they did, and dearly loved his wife. He never stopped working, there was always a project that needed done, but he always had time to laugh and play practical jokes on everyone.
