Charline Dennis, 91 of Lead, passed away on August 29, 2013 at the Lead-Deadwood Regional Hospital.
Charline was born on August 10, 1922 to Bruce and Marion (Johnson) Giles in Armour, SD. She was the sister to Shirley, Jack and Ruby. She married Donald Dennis in Yuma, AZ on December 24, 1937.
Her family cannot express how much she meant to all of us, with always a warm smile, an open home, a listening ear, a constant pot of coffee. She had an infectious laugh and was intelligent, caring, loving & kind.
We never hesitated to take our problems to her. She loved to read, play Scrabble and cards. And most of all she loved all of us.
Survivors include her children, Marilyn, Victor and Melody; grandchildren, Denise, Thom, Richard, Jon, Michael & Winona; great-grandchildren, Shelley, Ken, Nathan, Trevor, Jack & Axel; great-great granddaughter, Kaylee; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald in 2009, daughter, Rochelle and grandson Matt.
Memorial services will take place in Whittier, CA at a later date.
