Charles Dale Laurenti, 87, Lead, SD died Sunday, June 28, 2015 at Lead-Deadwood Regional Hospital in Deadwood.

Charles was born January 29, 1928 to Joseph and Emma Rose (Peretti) Laurenti in Lead, SD. He married Elizabeth "Betty" Vopat on August 12, 1953. To this union five children were born Charlie, Mike, Cindy, Mark and Scott. He proudly served in the South Dakota National Guard and was a life-long resident of Lead. He worked at the Homestake Mine for 40 years, retiring in 1985.

Charles is survived by four of his children, Charlie (Sue) Laurenti, Cindy (Darrell) Davis, Mark (Theresa) Laurenti, Scott (Brenda) Laurenti; nine grandchildren and one great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty and son, Mike.

Rosary Service for Charles will be at 4 PM, Wednesday, July 1 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Lead. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 AM Thursday, July 2, at the church. Inurnment will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to St. Patrick Catholic Church.
