It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Cathleen (Cat/Cathy)Anne Reams(Camire), a kind, compassionate, and loving soul who left an indelible mark on the lives of all who knew her. Cat passed away peacefully on Sunday January 26th 2025, at the age of 53, surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born April, 23, 1971, to Jim & Linda Camire, in Bristol, CT. Cat was a woman whose heart knew no bounds, especially when it came to animals. Throughout her life, she was a tireless advocate for the well-being of animals, giving a voice to those who could not speak for themselves. Through fostering or simply offering a safe haven for any creature in need, she gave her time, love, and energy without hesitation. Her love for animals was not only a passion but a way of life.

Beyond her commitment to animals, Cat had an infectious warmth and generosity of spirit that made everyone around her feel special. Her ability to listen with empathy, offer a shoulder to lean on, and bring joy to even the most difficult of circumstances was a gift she shared freely. She had a rare combination of grace and tenderness that made her beloved by friends, family, and all who crossed her path.

Cat is following her father Jim to heaven and survived by Ryan Wages; her mother, Linda; sister, Lisa; brothers, Mike and James; and many nieces and nephews, family, and friends. Her loss leaves a deep void, but the love she gave will continue to inspire those she leaves behind. Cat will be remembered for her unwavering love for animals, her kind heart, the fire and life she could bring to a room, and the gentle, thoughtful way she made the world a better place for all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A celebration of Cat's life will be held in Colorado over the summer of 2025.

She will forever be missed, but her legacy of kindness and compassion will live on in every life she touched.

Cremation arrangements were under the care of Fidler-Isburg Funeral Chapels and Isburg Crematory of Spearfish.
