Calvin "Ordell" Lusch, 80, of Spearfish, SD, passed away November 16, 2021, following a brief battle with cancer. Ordell was born on July 17, 1941, in Cody, WY to Elmer and Carmen Lusch,  and he grew up in Huron, SD.

Ordell's life as a business owner was one marked by a love of people. As a motel owner, and later a truck driver, he made friends every step of the way. He also had a gift for making his family feel special.

In retirement, he enjoyed nothing more than his regular "office meetings", swapping jokes and stories, or bragging up his granddaughters. He will be dearly missed.

Ordell was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Beverly (1990); and son, Joel (2017). He is survived by brothers, Arnold (MaryLou) of Hartford, SD, and Ronald (Shirley) of Cody, WY; sister, Myrna Cunningham (Seattle, WA); stepsons, Allan of Spearfish, SD, and Steve (Sonja) of Rosemount, MN with granddaughters Annaliese and Marlena. Also included are many dear family members and friends.

At his request, no service will be held. A memorial celebration of life will be held at a later date, yet to be determined.
