Loren Bruce Ryan, 67, Beulah, WY.
Bruce was born July 19, 1945 in Quincy, IL to Ruth (Walton) and Loren Ryan. Bruce passed away on August 17, 2012 while hunting caribou in Alaska. Bruce grew up in Yuma, AZ and graduated from the University of Arizona in Tucson. In 1966 he married Sally Thomas. To this union two sons were born. In 1985, he married Gayle Sager Mathews at Sundance, WY. Bruce lived his life as an educator, beekeeper and avid outdoorsman.
He is survived by his wife Gayle, Beulah, brother; Bill Ryan, Redding, CA, sons; Michael Ryan, Redding, CA and Patrick Ryan, Sacramento, CA; stepsons, Chad (Sabrina) Mathews, Cheyenne, WY and Craig (Raenel) Mathews, Payson, AZ, ten grandchildren, three great-grandsons, numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, August 26, 2012 at Church of the Good Shepherd Episcopal in Sundance. A memorial has been established to Church of the Good Shepherd Roof Fund.
