In loving memory of Brigitte Millard, a true free spirit who danced through life with wild abandon and a heart full of adventure. Born on February 26, 1953, Weiskirchen Germany, she brought joy and laughter to all who knew her. Known for her untamed spirit, Brigitte lived life on her own terms, embracing every moment with enthusiasm and a touch of mischief.

Her laugh was contagious, her stories legendary, and her zest for life unmatched. Whether she was exploring the great outdoors, throwing spontaneous parties or embarking on random road trips, usually the wrong way, she inspired those around her to break free from the ordinary and embrace the extraordinary.

Brigitte leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter and unforgettable memories. She will be missed dearly but remembered fondly for her wild heart and the joy she brought into our lives. In her honor, let us celebrate life with the same passion and enthusiasm that she exemplified every day.

She is survived by her husband Gene Millard and four children Heike Wooley (Mark), Carol Deschene (Mark), Michael Murphy, Heather Gary (Shane).  She was blessed with 8 grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren. Also surviving are 4 sisters Doris Ford, Maria Leighigh, Barbara Millard, Betty Stein and one brother Albert Hufnagel as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Proceeding her in death is her great granddaughter Myla June Tordsen.

Memorial service will be held at 3:00PM, Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at the Lead-Deadwood Memorial Chapel in Lead, South Dakota. There will be no burial at this time.
