Bonnie Vodopich, a loving mother and wife and life-long resident of Black Hills Area passed away on December 15, 2016 at the age of 46 while in hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.
Bonnie was born on May 19, 1970 in Spearfish, SD to parents, Don and Rosmary (Biel) Carpenter. She grew up in and graduated in 1989 from Spearfish. Her childhood years were spent in the hills, girl scouts, drill team and with the animals.
Bonnie was a supportive, loving mother and lived for her grandchildren. She dedicated her time to caring for her grandchildren, as well as playing BINGO at the local VFW.
Bonnie is survived by her father, Don Carpenter; husband, Vic Vodopich; children, Tierra Herrig of Rapid City, Kacie and Sheena Herrig; four loving grandchildren, Allie, Summer, Wynter, and Gavin; sister, Donna Beshara of Sioux Falls; nephews, Brandon (Kennedy) Carpenter of Gillette, WY and Dustin Carpenter of Belle Fourche; nieces, De Yon Lowin of Sioux Falls, SD and Trista and Hunter Hardel of Sioux Falls; great nephews, Christian and Hunter Jr.; great nieces, Angel and Odeila. She is preceded in death by brother, Keith Carpenter; mother, Rosmary (Biel) Carpenter; and her grandparents.
Memorial services will take place on December 20, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. at St James Episcopal Church in Belle Fourche, SD. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Bonnie's life. Ms. Vodopich will be buried in a private ceremony on later date.
