Beverly Jean Peterson, 85 of Sundance, WY, passed away on November 9, 2020 at Crook County Long Term Care. Beverly was born on July 3, 1935 to Orville Lincoln and Evelyn (Summers) Lincoln Edwards at Beulah, Wyoming. She attended three years of school at Beulah, then moved with her parents to Sundance and graduated from Sundance High School in 1953.

Beverly married George Peterson May 9, 1954 at Sundance Methodist Church. One son, Dallas, was born to the couple on July 21, 1956. George and Beverly ran the Peterson Gas Company from 1965 to 1996 where she was the bookkeeper. Beverly was a member of the Rebekah Lodge #29 for many years and a member of the Sundance Methodist Church.

Survivors include her sisters Shirley (Larry) Beagle and Delores Broadway, both of Rapid City, SD and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Peterson; son, Dallas Peterson; father, Orville Lincoln; stepfather, Noel Edwards; and her mother, Evelyn Edwards.

Graveside services will be at 3:30 PM on Friday, November 13, 2020 at Green Mountain Cemetery in Sundance.
