A much loved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Beverly (Cornell) Klumb, 86, of Spearfish, South Dakota passed away on Friday, August 10, 2018.

She was born February 10, 1932 in Rapid City, South Dakota to Mona (Sankey) and Harry Cornell. On June 4, 1950, Beverly married Roland Klumb in Spearfish, South Dakota. She was employed by Spearfish City Cabins and retired from Spearfish West Elementary where she worked for the school lunch program for 19 years. Her role as wife, mother and grandmother was the most important thing to Beverly. This is where she drew her strength and left her legacy. She was a dedicated member of St. Paul Lutheran Church where she served in many capacities. She loved spending time with her family and friends.

Beverly is survived by her five children Linda (Jim) Carpenter, Kathy Klumb, Roger Klumb, Laura (Bob) Olson and Wanda (Bill) Houser, nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Beverly was preceded in death by her loving husband, Roland, her parents and her two sisters, Fay and Lorraine and her two brothers, Hugh and Jack.

Beverly's family will be receiving friends from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM on Monday, August 13 at Fidler-Isburg Funeral Chapel in Spearfish. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Spearfish, SD. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Spearfish.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made to benefit St. Paul Lutheran Sunday School or St. Paul Lutheran Quilters Group.
