Obituary
Betty Jean Jegeris (White) passed away at her home in Lead, SD on Sunday, February 2nd, 2014 at age 73. All her children and grandchildren were in Lead visiting her for the weekend and had a nice visit with her. She is remembered as a giving and wonderful wife and mother.
Born in Eau Claire, WI in 1940, she moved to St. Paul in 1946, where she grew up in the Como Park area. She graduated from Mankato State with a teaching degree. Betty and her husband Maris raised their family in Maple Grove. In 2005, they moved to Lead, SD to retire.
Betty is survived by Maris, Lead, SD; sister Nancy McKillips of St. Paul; daughters Tanya Snyder of Edina and Nicole Graves of Coon Rapids; son Karl Jegeris of Rapid City, SD; and 7 grandchildren.
A private family service was held and burial is planned at Black Hills National Cemetery.
