Obituary
Betty Carter, 76 of Lead, SD passed away on April 5, 2015 at her home.
Betty was born on January 18, 1939 to Walter and Zita (McMann) Peterson.
She is survived by her children, Callie Potter, Wilmington, NC, Grace Storm, Lead, Chuck Carter, Lead, Debbie Panella, Ft. Collins, CO, Randy Carter, Greeley, CO; sisters, Lillian McGrath, Madison, WI, Carol Helwig, The Colony, TX; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Carter, parents, three brothers and a sister.
Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to Hospice of the Northern Hills.
Arrangements are pending with the Lead-Deadwood Memorial Chapel in Lead.
