A lifelong resident of the Lead-Deadwood area, Beth DeLong passed away Saturday, January 15, 2011 surrounded by her loved ones.
Beth was born September 29, 1961 in Deadwood to Kenneth and Mary (Heath) Bailey.

Her outgoing and friendly demeanor will be missed by her friends and family. Her motto in life was "I am not afraid, for I have seen yesterday and I love today." She has always embraced the simple things in life.

On August 16, 2003 she married "the love of her life", Larry DeLong.

Beth was a graduate of Lead High School. She was a member of the Deadwood VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She loved playing pool, poker and darts and taking road trips with friends and family.

She adored her sons, Heath, Cody and Brandon Geuke; her stepdaughter Kayela DeLong; and her granddaughters Tori and Aaliyah.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and brother Jim Bailey.

She is survived by her husband, sons, step-daughter, siblings-David (Robyn) Bailey, Mary Ann (Denny) Biggs, Kathy (Bob) Shama, John (Larisa) Bailey and Peggy Fierro, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services for Beth with be at 12 noon Saturday January 22, 2011 at Lead-Deadwood Memorial Chapel in Lead. A gathering of friends and family will follow the service at the Deadwood VFW. Arrangements are under the care of Lead-Deadwood Memorial Chapel.
