Barbara Dawn Edwards, age 70, passed away on July 17, 2019.

She was born October 9, 1948 in Stoneham, MA to Donald and Marjorie Edwards.   When she was a child, her family moved to Lisbon Falls, ME where she lived until she graduated High School.  She went to Carnegie Institute in Boston, MA to become a Dental Assistant.  She met and married Charles Edwards on September 5, 1970.  She moved to Spearfish, SD to live on the family ranch.  To this union they had three children, Eric (Tammi), Amanda, and Sarah Edwards all of Spearfish.

Barbara worked for various dentists in Spearfish for many years.  She eventually left that career to start working at Walmart Pharmacy, where she worked for many years before leaving to take care of her grandson.  She was the proud grandma of three, Ethan Edwards, and Kelsa and Andrew Edwards all of Spearfish.  Besides being a grandmother, she loved reading, word finds, and cross stitching in her free time.

She is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, six siblings, and numerous nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Donald  and Marjorie Edwards.

Memorial service will be at 10AM on August 19, 2019 at Fidler-Isburg Funeral Chapel with a lunch to follow at the Snapper's Club, 416 S Canyon St, in Spearfish City Campground.
