Audrey M. Lohr, 74 of Spearfish, SD passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at Spearfish Regional Hospital.
Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Monday, May 31, 2010 at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church in Spearfish, with Vigil services beginning at 7:00 pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place Tuesday, June 1 at 10:30 am at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church in Spearfish, with Father Timothy Castor as Celebrant. Burial will follow at 1:30 pm at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, SD.
Audrey was born on April 10, 1936 at Clear Lake, SD to Edward and Ann Susan (Mack) Kaiser. She moved to Estelline, SD at age 10 where she attended school and worked for the Estelline Hospital. She married Arthur Lohr on October 15, 1953 in Estelline and moved to the Black Hills. During their marriage they lived in various parts of the world, before returning to Spearfish. She worked at the Dorsett Home, Lawrence County Health, Mini Mart and Safeway.
Audrey greatest acheivement was being a wonderful grandmother and was known to them as G-Mister, Grams, Grana and Grannie, and Gramma.
Survivors include her children; Lelia (Paul) Lewis, Stephanie (Joe) Sprigler, Richard (Maria) Lohr, Rhonda Lohr-French all of Spearfish and Edward (Suzanne) Lohr of Anchorage, AK; 12 grandchildren; Tambi, Marc, Josh, Erica, Mathew, Brandon, Michael, Natasha, Zachary, Nicholas, Victor and Arthur and sister Eileen Linneman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Arthur and two brothers Marvin and Edward.
