Obituary
Arlene K. Rang, 69, Deadwood, SD died Thursday, August 29, 2013 at Rapid City Regional Hospital.
Arlene was born March 4, 1944 at home near Dixon, SD to Julius and Leah (Stroh) Willuweit. She grew up and attended school in the Dallas and Gregory area. She married Kenny Rang on June 15, 1962 and to that union four sons were born, Kelly, Curtis, Brett and Corey. Arlene and Kenny also raised her younger brothers and sisters. They moved to the Northern Hills area in 1974, where she has resided since. She had a big heart, always ready to help family, friends or someone she just met with anything she could.
Survivors include her sons; Kelly (Lisa) Rang, Curtis, Brett (Marcy) Rang and Corey (Deb) Rang, six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters; Eldon (Jan) Willuweit, Donna Stechman, Verdeen Davies, Harley Willuweit, Marva (Bob) Ryther, Don Willuweit, Barbara (Bill) Stott, Linda (Frank) Kumley, numerous nieces and nephews, Doug Sothan and family, along with all her numerous co-workers through the years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Kenny, brothers and sisters; Winston, Darlene, Melvin, Merle and Dennis.
Memorial Services for Arlene will be at 10 AM, Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Lead-Deadwood Memorial Chapel in Lead.
