Anthony "Tony" David Crawford, 56 of Spearfish, passed away on September 26, 2015 as a result of an automobile accident.

Tony was born on March 6, 1959 in Gettysburg, SD to Richard and Marie Crawford. He was raised and attended school in Gettysburg. He joined the Air Force for a short time and was honorably discharged. He met and married Dawn Parsons in Pierre, SD and to this union they had a son Tyrell, who was Tony's "pride and joy".
He moved to Spearfish and made a living as a certified mechanic/electronics and was a jack of all trades.

He enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR races on TV. He spent the last years of his life living in the country located in Spearfish on Crow Peak, which he loved. He recently retired due to his failing health.

He is survived by his son, Tyrell (Katie) Crawford, Las Vegas, NV; brother, Mike (Connie) Crawford, Rapid City; sisters, Frances Speirs, Spearfish, Rosemary (Ken) Jones, Marion, IN and Terese (Jim) Frost , Highmore, SD; sister-inlaw, Bonnie Crawford, Ft. Pierre, SD; his best buddy was his dog, Nibbler and best friend, Bob Howard. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Tom and Pat.

A private family service will follow at a later time. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
