Alvin Lee Hantke, 76,  passed away on Tuesday, March 9th from Diabetes.

He was a resident of Lead since 1975 and had worked at Homestake Gold Mine for 28 years until it was closed. He had been a Diamond Driller and enjoyed the challenge of it. He was a very loving and caring Father, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather. He enjoyed playing cards, especially Poker and Pinochle. When he was younger he enjoyed bowling.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
